Amarendra Sahu is a Principal Consultant and Heads the Mining, Metals, Energy & Natural Resources Practice with Transearch International, New Delhi, India office. He comes from a sales and marketing background, having worked for nearly 17 years in office automation and information technology solutions. Amarendra moved into the Executive Search and Selection space 3 years ago. He has worked at setting up and running contingency selection business in Delhi and moved to senior level Executive Search at Ma Foi Global Search Services Limited facilitating talent acquisition for leadership positions.

His main strength lies in providing search solutions to the mining and metal industries including steel, where he has handled key mandates. He spearheaded a number of new initiatives, including setting up and building the search practice in the metals domain. He has also handled key mandates across other industries that include BMW India, Perlos Corporation, Endurance to name a few.

Amarendra is a graduate in Psychology and Economics with additional postgraduate qualifications in Law and Business Management. He is certified in personal profile analysis, human job analysis and tests in selection and training from Thomas International, UK. He is accredited to the All India Management Association.
